Philip Zoubek, born 1978 in Tulln, Lower Austria and based in Cologne since 2001, is a piano player known for his prepared and inside piano techniques and lately as well for working with analog synthesizers. He studied jazz piano, both in Vienna and Cologne.

Zoubek mainly works in the context of jazz, improvised, electronic and new music, also including projects with new media artists, dancers, theater and film. He has been working and performing with Louis Sclavis, Michel Godard, Wilbert de Joode, Paul Lovens, Tom Rainey, Marcus Schmickler, Xavier Charles and Ingrid Laubrock – just to name a few.
